Hi,
What you are saying I already read in the Codec FAQ.
What I said is that for the 64bit version WMP12 I miss the MP42 FOURCC from the list of supported codecs (for encoding purposes) that are there for previous versions of the WMP and is available for the 32-bit version of WMP 12.
For info on how to check what 64 bit codecs are on a win7 system, make sure that you use the 64 bit version of WMP 12 (by checking in task manager) and refer to this article:
