Hi,
I bought a Xbox One Elite Controller and connected it through the USB cable to my PC that is running Windows 10. The device installed automatically and was listed correctly as a Xbox One Elite Controller.
Xbox One Elite Controller (V1 and sadly V2) stick drift. I don`t see any chance this can be fixed with drivers/software - so I`ll just surrender and give up my hope. Reply I recommend this discussion (0) Subscribe Subscribe to RSS feed Discussion Info.
However, when I load ANY game, the game detects the right thumbstick as continuously sending a 'left' and 'up' signal, making the games nigh unplayable.

After digging through tons of websites and forum pages, I finally found a workaround, which is to manually install an older 'normal' XBox One Controller driver that dates back to 2014. (No, the latest normal XBox One Controller drivers have the same problem as well)
Once that was done, the problem went away. So there's definitely a problem with the latest XBox One Controller Drivers (Both Elite and normal, dated Oct 2015). I've been trying to contact Microsoft, but none of their support chat staff seems to have any idea how to reach that ONE guy or department who is responsible for the drivers on Windows 10 for the Xbox One Controllers.
This is really sad, as my old XBox 360 Controllers all worked without a hitch on Windows 10, and I was expecting the same from the newer controllers.
Anyone have any idea how to reach the person in charge of fixing the drivers?
